The Importance of Scaling

When I moved to New Relic, they were running into scaling issues. And what I discovered was I just came from Amazon or at least came to Amazon a couple of years before. And all the things that I saw Amazon doing to solve scaling and availability issues, New Relic wasn't doing. So I figured there must be a lot of other companies that run in the same sorts of problems like that. It's actually a significantly different book than the first edition. It has about 50% new content and about, it's about about 30% larger and about 50%new content.
