The Oscars Are Stuck in Trying to Recapture Something I Can't Get Back
Sean Fennessy: For Netflix, it would be very easy for them to just kind of four-wall movies in whatever, 10 cities and move on with their day. Air played in 3,500 screens. Like they're already aware of what's coming. There are still great movies that are made exclusively for streamers. I feel like the Oscars, as usual, is pretty stuck in trying to recapture something I can't get back.
