The Song of the Fisherman in Ezekiel Tindia

This indigenous fisherman, in many of the Costa towns, they used to propel the Akan news and boats through Manua Ruiz. Now because of technology and because of modernization, many of them have bought and adopted the use of outboard motors. And this is one of the reasons that I dare say that we are probably looking at one of the last generations of this fishing tradition. So what they do now is they go and cast the net a few hundred meters from the shore in a loop. They come back to the shore and with the help of the sign nets and ropes, very long ropes, they pull the cash ash. And This is always done to music.
