The Jump to Universality
In the early history of many fields that universality, when it was achieved, was not the primary objective. A small change in a system to meet a parochial purpose wasn't an objective at all. This is the jump to universality. If we think about Bitcoin, I am pretty sure that that is a universal system. We have to add some layer too. But I think that met the minimum criteria for universality. And so, and maybe, maybe it's blockchain as a concept. Met the criteria for universals. And Bitcoin is just a flash in the pan.
