How to Apologize When You're Not Sure What to Say
I've always found myself in meetings deferring to the blokes and looking to the guy for the answer. I find that a lot of people do who lack power but women in particular is that when you do get the chance to speak you have a really long run up. We often apologize without even saying sorry we apologize with the language we use around sorry, she says. She also shares her personal favorite phrases: "I think rather than what I'm saying being fact"
