The Global Slavery Index and Child Sex Trafficking
This is my beef with any of these sort of like the global slavery index is one of the worst ones. What you're basically doing is you're assuming exactly the thing you're trying to find out. If you're interested in child sex trafficking, you can't just say that Uganda has more because it has a higher poverty rate. Maybe the country has really good policies that prevent child sex trafficking. Or maybe there's something in the culture that keeps this from happening as much as you would expect.
