M casc's view is that morality is essentially about treating the interests of others as equal to your own. He says future people count in this calculation also, and it's not future people, like a someone planning to have children, but any potential people existing into the indefinite futurecount tor this calculation. So pretty quickly, their interests swamp the interests of anybody a presently existing. Some of his concerns aren't just strange; he hypothesises how society would recover from a total collapse. And he has this knd of view that we shouldn't use fossil fuels up now because you know, there might be a societal collapse.
