I've watched Tom and Shiv together and I do wonder Matthew how you take the abuse, even as an actor. People often say why is Shiv with Tom? Why did she choose to be with this guy? He's never going to let her down. And perhaps she has had her heart broken and didn't like it at all. They rub a long well enough and he's a safe pair of hands. There's not think he wants more in the world than to be alone with her - which is almost the last thing in the world she seems to want.
