Dickens was the best selling book in the whole of the 19th century I think in the US and it was only outsold by the Bible. He's writing the story as it's being put out okay and that's like really really crucial because what it what it does. The character of Ben Linus on Lost was not written until Michael Emerson had a scene stealing uh three episodes stint on the series.
