If you are entering the criminal justice system right now, you are facing a very lengthy way to get justice. You can end up with some cases that don't really feel like justice if you have to spend more time in prison to prove you're innocent than just to say you did something that you didn't do. That doesn't feel like a justice system that's operating particularly well. So at the moment the backlog is staying pretty flat but bringing it down is going to take a really long time. I think when you're talking about making investments in a criminal justice system, you need to be very careful about taking in the bigger picture.
