Russia's Strategy in Ukraine
The emerging strategy now seems to be to fall back on the play book that they supported the syrian sad regime, and very effectively arm and brutally in doing. Russia can't hold all of u kraine probably can't even nably hold the cities that it already has encircledif if it were to take them. But if it can present kiev with these sort of impossible humanitarian catastrophes in its cities, then the hope from the russian regime seems to be that they can force kiev to accept surrender terms.
