I think there's a certain type of spirituality that thinks that repetition is inherently bad and that structure stifles the Holy Spirit. What I would actually begin with is thinking about how God forms people. And apart from how the law functions in the lives of the Christians, I didn't say that when God wanted to form a people he said, you know what, I got a bunch of people who are just rescued out of Egypt. So it seems like if you read the Psalms, these people have a personal intimate passionate relationship with God who they love deeply.
