The Gates of Paranoia

I'm confident I've quoted the Milton thing from Paradise Lost before where he says, the mind is its own place and can make in itself a hell of heaven and a heaven of hell. The other half of the reality is Baldwin when he talks about the gates of paranoia. It's sad, it's heartbreaking to imagine living that way.
