The Politics of Jamaica in the 70s
Jamaican in the 70s is an intense place. There's violence and gun court, there's reggae and Don Quarry winning gold medal. I was coming from rural Canada where nothing happened to a place where everything was happening. So that's another memory that's like, from remember that time and the turbulent political situation. But I mean, there was good times to me. Going back to Chinese town, playing football, it was a very double edged sword at period of time because it was so good to revive the energy, the music.
