What Is the Halo Effect?

The halo effect is not something I coined. It's been around, but it basically says that about on average 50% of perceived value of any product or service is not what is not a customer's engagement with that product or service. So for example, in the Disney scenario, let's say I have a family vacation, I'm going to spend six days down in Orlando. The way people get comfortable, and this is of course not conscious, but it is tested and proven, is they sort of feel that about $2,000 of that vacation is what happens when I'm at the park.
