And so you have two gospels, Matthew and John, that are from one of the 12. Then you get Mark and Luke, Luke, who is a disciple of Paul, and Mark, who is an apostle Peter. We really do start to see a Peter stamp on Mark's gospel. He's the first person that has introduced to us in the gospel; he's the last person mentioned in the gospel.
