He has a small stream running through his property, and about seven months a year, the water is running fast enough for him to harness it and drive a generator. And he gets like, up to 500 wats out of this generator a peak. The electricity is supplied by a battery back up fed by hydro electric plant. Of his own production. But he's got a solar array too.
