The Importance of Open Capital Accounts in China
The percentage of global reserves in the Chinese you won is basically round down to zero. And I think there's very good reason for that. China doesn't have an open capital account. You can't just move money in and out of China. So not only do they not have the same level of liquidity that the Treasury has, they are not even trying. They're not even in that race.
