The History of Diarrhea

A lot of compounds use a symptom as part of the disease name. There's a lot of things that cost diarrhea, including cholera. It's not until you can start isolating germs that you would actually have a name similar to COVID-19 or just COVID because like viruses were not discovered until later in the 19th century.
