Eight Is My Favorite JRPG Game

I have very few games that involve that kind of grind that I want to play. It's not for me, but there's no shame and want to just sit there and enjoy the game. With eleven you have the option on the switch version to where you can play the game in like old school 2D overworld, eight bit style. You could revamp your kill gameplay to look like an old,. what is it, 16 bit, 18 bit kind of game. Am I wrong about that one?
