John landis met Michael jackson when he was 18 years old. The pair were standing outside a jewellers in Bond Street, London. Jackson had his hair cut by hand clippers at an amazing barbers' shop. He describes the smell of after shave as 'like so reassuring grandad' John then went on to direct him to five live's original fighting talk concept.
