Is There a Compatibility Between Multi Lateralism and the Unit Polar World?
There's a lot of talk about the unit polar world and the multi polar world. Could you address the way people use that term, and maybe making distinctions with how it's used by different people? I think tat there's nothing inherently incompatible between multi polarity and multi lateralism, right? Every international order is rooted in some sort of rules. And yes, the form of multi lateralism that will exist in a multi polar world might look different than the kind of multilateralism that you'll see in a uni polar world. But that doesn't mean that there's some sort of inherent non compatibility betweena multi Polarity andmulti lateralism.
