The CFTC maintains its commodity status for ETH. But there's an interview with the CFTC commissioner where she stated that potentially it could be both a security and a commodity. I think you're also going to see some interesting financial products start to get built around this,. And you probably won't see those derivative type of contracts spawned in the United States out of the gate, although they'll get there eventually.
