The Rise and Fall of Computing in the Popular History
The 70s was the threats of violence and then the nonviolent attacks. Now we are in a different situation where computation is not as concentrated or it's more protected. The technology ends up being used by centers of power or power systems that are interested in subordinating people doing surveillance securitizing people organizing social resources and relations that fit into specific political patterns or economic patterns. That path gets a little bit shorter if we can have a handle on the technology right? One way to close out certain paths is a defensive action which is to make these motherf****** mothers afraid.
