The Six Subtypes of Polytial Artery Entrapment Syndrome

The far more common subtype of polytial artery entrapment syndrome is functional. The incidence of the rarer anatomical types is only in the order of, you know,.5 to 3.5% as identified on the section of cadavers. So that is far less common, but far more significant if it's identified. 50% of the normal population can occlude their polytial arteries with enough plantar flexion.
