The Redneck Hillbilly

Redneck comes with a connotation of some kind of pride, you know, you're not proud to be white trash. Or white trash or victims rednecks are proud of their, of their, uh, white rural outlook. Well, so this is the cracker redneck hillbilly: A constellation of terms that have been re-appropriated and used by different groups of white people internally. And also we're going to reclaim redneck. It's cool. Like hillbilly was a term used by, uh, by the people in the hills originally. But it only became a term after they immigrated to the US.
