Kevin Majors: Reframing is the C in CBT, cognitive behavioral therapy. He says when people get good at reframing they see negative thoughts as an opportunity for practice. A study by Jeremy Jamison found that half of students who were given a reframing statement might use it to help them with their GRE test.
