The Cost of British Food Basics Is Going Up by 80% in a Year
Pork sausages have soared by 80% in some shops over the past year. Sky high porridge oats actually has seen the steepest rise. Skimmed milk also sky rocketing like 33.6%. And as does budget, just essential pork sausages were also up by 73%. So this is a bleak picture for millions of people who are already saying they're having to skip meals to pay for their heating bills and those increase in the bills we're paying for our homes.
