Diamond has presented no evidence that a pagan idol was worshipped in the Vatican Gardens in 2013. There's also evidence that these were indigenous Catholics offering worship with a symbol of Mary. Francis actively participated in the worship of the idol, Pachamama, and of all the false religions at his Assisi event because he hosted it. Even if this were an idolatrous act of worship, that best you'd be like Pope Onorius failing to stop it.
