The Current Account Deficit and China's Surplus
The idea that financial floes can push around the value of the dollar, and that the dollar has an effect on trade is not something that we should deny. It goes to like the idea that, you know, we will flip around this traditional view of us. China trade, which hadles had left the us with a kurrncoun deficit and china with a surplus. And in a way, americans are being forced, right to spend and borrow more a to spend abroad.
