The Most Important Things You've Learned From Your Initial Training

What were some of the most important, perhaps things you've learned when learning to teach? Because i don't know if everything that we learn in those courses are actually necessary for you to carry on in your teaching career. One thing i remember, um, and this stuck with me, was the importance of getting on with your team. I do place quite a lot of emphasis on on working with sound. It can probably seem quite old fashioned or old school, these days - but maybe it's come back into fashion now.
