The Free Market Selecting Against the Free Market

Right now acting in my self interest is like starting a tech company and becoming, you know, extremely wealthy. And I'm for sure not like 100% confident that that'll happen. But certainly it's a much much more likely path to wealth than doing machine learning policy. The people who hate the market will go to areas outside of the market. That's the core case of the free market selecting against the free market.
