In Richmond, Jim Began Preaching on the Streets

In Richmond, Indiana, Jones began preaching on the streets to anyone who would pause for a while to listen. He held his ministry on the north side of Richmond, down by the railroad tracks in a predominantly black residential and industrial area. This was Jim's religion right up through the end of high school. It was one way that Marceline, as well as their family, had been put at ease despite some of Jim's eccentricities.
