The 100 Kilometer Exemption for Strategic Linear Infrastructure Projects
There are certain lands on which the Act would apply and there are certain exceptions even within that. One of the exemptions or exceptions you just mentioned is land within 100 kilometers of international border. But I'd also like to add one point here saying that it's time that we also look at issues like climate change, ecological disasters, zoo notics as important domestic security concerns. So when an exception is being introduced, it also has to be weighed from these parameters rather than other strategic needs on border areas only.
