How Does a Self-Driving Car Work?
I would look at that and say yes clearly engineers were making really consequential decisions there but they were responding to a set of incentives that came from a silicon valley tech firm. I think it's wrong just to just to blame the engineers themselves because the engineers were working in a particular corporate context right? So one of the tragedies of innovation is that often you know it takes a catastrophe to get people to change their approach so after that death uber started testing in a more responsible way after that accident.
