Do Non-Human Primates Keep Pets?
In captivity, the animals are very well fed and well taken care of. I think they sometimes may be nice to the young of other species, but of course, they also sometimes will eat them. And humans live in this sort of same circumstances. We have enough food and security in our societies that we can adopt pets. But if we live on the brink, I'm not sure we will do that so much.
