The History of Duct Tape

The change from the name duct tape to duct tape starts around the 1950s. Both words are extremely similar and people just tried this tape for that application. People start trying it for ducts and then also tape manufacturers have led people to very reasonably think it's for that. They don't want the other high school football players to tie them to a goal post with duct tape so they call it what our mail says.
