What Is Your Purpose?
In the golden Don tradition, for example, there's a series of initiation rituals. They are basically theatrical performances with an audience of one. And they are intended to sort of jolt that person awake in certain ways using the tools of dramatic performance and esoteric practice. The highest grade of initiation is epsisimus, which is a Latin word, meaning most completely yourself. In initiation, there has been more cons while up ladled over that one concept than anything else except the lost continent of Atlantis.
