Annie Nightingale on Radio

Annie Nightingale is the oldest presenter in the world, I guess so. And her show is absolutely amazing on radio. But she's kind of got a massive significance in broadcasting world. The power of the BBC back then was just crazy. Radio 1 and Kiss were the ones you'd listen to all the time. It would always be some sort of dance music at some point in the day. You had pirate stations that were just around. There's no one really listened to Capital - it was very commercial. Netherlands is good for dance radio. Obviously, dance music has a big home there. US is just... It's totally different. They don't have, like, a radio
