The Origins of Inflation in the 1970s
It's still a bit of a mystery of why inflation occurred during this period. There are many factors which are coming in, I think the central banks were in part responsible for that. It started to become very complicated to do this quantitative rationing once you have a system that has become much more complex. And so whether they are completely true or whether they're just a way to hide their responsibility and engage their responsibility, it's not a lot completely clear.
