Writing a Story Is Like a Puzzle, Isn't It?
"I use that puzzle, anthology, ananthology, g analogy all of the time to describe my writing process," he says. "To me, creating a story is like doing a puzzle, because you have to lek, you work on a little clump, and then slowly but surely, the clumps start to merge together." He has worked out why his first draft felt so overwhelming - it's not necessarily about being too busy or having no time for anything else. But rather than just going from skeleton to draught without a break, this book was written over two weeks.
