The Bible is oftentimes an account of reality and it's not always the best, Father Mike says. The people who knew what it was like to be slaves also have to know what it's like not to be slaves,. Therefore, every seventh day rest because you're not a slave. And every 50th year, every seven weeks of years, rest and set free because you are not meant to be slaves.
