The idea that the Bible is fundamentally different from other kinds of literature, whether they be contemporary or modern. There's an increase in pushback in the field against an even kind of anachronistic idea of canon at a very early stage. And I think that anxiety comes out of a sense that for this to function as sacred literature it needs to be categorically distinct - which you could argue even on theological grounds as a mistaken assumption.
