How to Be a Successful Speaker

I would have preferred to spend my time totally behind the keyboard rather than speaking to anyone. But I realized that I had to find my way of getting out there. When you're going to give a talk, pick one message and stick to that. If you join Toastmasters, that's one thing that you can do. There are different paths that you can follow depending on your area of interest. You need to make sure that you catch the attention of the people right up front. And then you can get that type of feedback.
