In 18 12, a small band of loyal venezuelan exiles sailed from curicaw to cartagena. Upon arrival, they got about the business of planning their own personal reconquista. After escaping from spain, norino had gone back to new granada but upon concluding that his fellow countrymen were not yet ready for independence, he turned himself into the viceroy in bogota. He then sat in a cardagena prison and on the winds of independence came through sweeping through south america. And here we are at the end of this episode with belivar trying to right the ship.
