The Leningrad Codex is the main copy of the Masoretic text that is generally used when people want to create a translation of the Hebrew Bible. There's an earlier one called the Aleppo Codex, which is almost identical in every way. And then there's another manuscript that's actually going up for auction soon that is probably around the same age as the Aleppo Codex,. if not a little bit older.
