Phaedrus says that the greatest good for a youth is to have a worthy Erastes, from early on. An army of lovers would be unbeatable as they would try not to look cowardly in front of each other. Phaedrus also says that even women will act bravely for their husbands. The most famous homoerotic relationship in Greek legend is that of Achilles and Patricles.
