How to Build a Good Python API

requests is kind of like my people ask me what my favorite libraries are. I usually answer request is my favorite one. Because it is, you know, I put a lot of thought and design into the way it works. But yeah, there's a lot of I'm very opinionated about certain things in Python. Raymond Hettiger just did a great talk at Python called Beyond PEP8. So I recommend people go check that out.
