The Crimes of Igor and Alexander Hansa

Ukrainian police make a lot of claims about how the pair were eventually caught. The official story is that on the 23rd of July 2007, the pair had attempted to pawn one of their victims' phones. But due to the secretive nature of the police in Ukraine and inconsistencies in media reports, we just can't know for sure. Before Alexander was arrested, however, it is reported that he flushed a bunch of stolen jewelry and phones down the toilet. However, toilets never worked, the items were later recovered.
