The Legend of Korra: Avatar the Last Airbender

Mike Di Martino and Brian Kinetsko are the brilliant minds behind Avatar the Last Airbender and the Legend of Korra. They talked about how they met at RISD, Rhode Island School of Design before coming together to work on the series. Mike: "We tried to learn from the Korean animation industry and bring that back to the US industry because it was so stagnant" The pair also discussed putting more power in the hands of animators rather than storyboards.
